Vegetables grown on a commercial scale offer many challenges for growers. There are many variables that complicate production and yield, some being weather, disease, and insect pressures. While Liberty Acres can not control all variables, we can offer a fertilizer “tool” to maximize productivity. This includes full fertilizer program assistance, utilizing all available tools (starters, liquids, foliar, and amendments). Liberty Acres has compiled a large database of plant growth curves and uses these to maximize soil productivity as well as yield.

Liquid Fertilizer and Fertigation
Have you ever wondered why some products are used and some not used on certain vegetable crops, especially when using liquid fertigation? This is due to many factors. Some manufacturers promote the unique, and some promote the odd. Liberty Acres promotes what is good for maximum plant production, but always keeping a keen eye on cost. Liberty Acres uses raw materials that are proven productive and are the least expensive, where possible. We will not sacrifice quality for price, yet wherever we find a way to produce a material of high productive quality, we will utilize that. As an example, Liberty Acres manufactures it’s own minor nutrient mix for blending. These are sulfate based, which are an inexpensive but extremely productive form. Of course, you could spend more for expensive chelates, but sulfate based minor nutrients have been proven to be just as effective (reference “MicroNutrients in Agriculture”, 2nd Ed., Soil Science Society of America– www.soils.org). Albion's Metalosate®Foliar Nutrients
Liberty Acres Fertilizer Corporation is a distributor of Albion’s Metalosate® Foliar products.
