General Information
Nursery crops are unique. There are always varying plant species that have unique characteristics. Liberty Acres Fertilizer Corporation has developed a “nursery” blend of fertigation grade fertilizer that is based on known plant nutrient parameters combined with Liberty Acres vast fertigation experience with fertigation materials and techniques. Our base blend has nutrient ratios that have performed extremely well in both growth and quality. Our raw materials produce a blend that is the highest quality on the market, and guaranteed! Liberty Acres typically starts new customers with the base blend, then customizes the blend in subsequent loads to fit production needs.

Liquid Fertilizer and Fertigation
Liquid fertilizer, and fertigation, are still fairly new to the nursery industry. The proper materials and application of fertigated liquids is generally misunderstood in the industry. It is unfortunate, but you can still find published books concerning fertigation that claim liquid fertilizer is not as effective for overall growth and quality. Most of these texts, however, do not realize the vast materials and application methods available (as well as the cost savings). In most cases, we have found fertigation from Liberty Acres will increase rate of growth and plant quality while giving the grower control of plant nutrition. This response has come for a much lower cost per pot/plant when compared to other nutrient management systems. These facts are mainly due to Liberty Acres’ vast experience in fertigation, and fertigation grade liquid manufacture. This experience working with crops from fiber tree production to strawberries enables us to understand plant-nutrient behavior and interactions.

Albion's Metalosate®Foliar Nutrients
Liberty Acres Fertilizer Corporation is a distributor of Albion’s Metalosate® Foliar products. These products have proven very effective in uptake and utilization in the plant tissue as well as fruit uptake. Working from the TEAM® analysis derived from tissue tests, Liberty Acres will help you maximize nutrient balance. These materials are patented amino acid chelates that the plant recognizes as a nitrogen molecule, then absorbs both the ion and chelate, then due to chemical structure, the plant is able to utilize the product more quickly. This results in fast uptake and movement to deficient areas of the plant. Given the fact that many species of plants are being grown, it is not uncommon to have some deficiencies develop over time. The Metalosate® foliar material can be used to correct these deficiencies, as well as supply a supply of nutrients to “green-up” lackluster plants.
